Dr Adrian Canale-Parola


With more than 30 years experience as a GP Principal in Rugby, Adrian has a long history of involvement in commissioning. He has been a GP Fundholder, PCT PEC GP and Chair, and Clinical Lead for Mental Health commissioning for NHS Warwickshire.

Dr Steve Allen

Clinical Director

A Coventry GP for more than 20 years, Steve brings a wealth of clinical and management experience to the role of Clinical Director. He has been giving commissioning advice in numerous roles for most of that time for 18 years including PEC Co-chair and Medical Director for Primary Care. Steve also plays a key role as the CCG’s Caldicott Guardian, ensuring the organisation satisfies the highest practical standards for handling patient information.

Dr Peter O'Brien

Clinical Locality Lead (Inspires)

Peter has been a GP partner in Coventry for almost 30 years. He has been involved in health service management since the formation of FHSAs in 1990 and has considerable experience in running GP educational groups. He has read the last 1,000+ editions of the British Medical Journal and still looks forward to the next one arriving!

Dr Sarah Raistricks

Clinical Locality Lead (Godiva)

Sarah joined the CCG Governing Body in January 2017 and has worked as a GP for 12 years, starting her career in London. The mother-of-three has worked at Willenhall Primary Care Centre in Coventry since June 2014.

Secondary Care

Prashant Kakodkar 

Secondary Care Consultant 

Prashant has been practising medicine for more than 25 years. During his training as an anaesthetist, he has worked in a number of hospitals in India, Northern Ireland and the Midlands region. He is currently a consultant at Northampton General Hospital and is actively involved with the activities of the Royal College of Anaesthetists as an Examiner. He is particularly interested in management of high-risk surgical cases and training of junior doctors. He brings in a wealth of experience and knowledge in patient safety, quality and governance in healthcare to the organisation.

Peter Maddock

Lay Member - Governance

Peter has over 30 years experience within the NHS of which 16 years was at Director and Chief Executive level. He is currently a Director of two management Consultancy Companies that provide support to NHS organisations. Peter has been a resident of Coventry for 53 years and worked in Rugby for 8 years. He is also the CCG's Conflicts of Interest Guardian.

Ludlow Johnson

Lay Member - Patient and Public Involvement / Equality (Coventry)

Ludlow is currently a senior manager in the NHS ambulance sector and has many years experience in the field of equality and human rights. He is also a sitting magistrate on the adult criminal bench and is a specialist advisor to the Care Quality Commission.

Public Health

Dr Jane Moore

Director of Public Health (Coventry)

A former cluster DPH for Outer North East London, Jane has worked in Public Health at a regional level in London leading on aspects of the transition of Public Health to Public Health England and on screening and Public Health incidents.  Jane has also worked in a number of non-public health roles that reflect her interest in how to improve care for individuals and maximise health and well-being outcomes.  She has also been regional lead on Health Inequalities for the South West region and her areas of Public Health interest are health inequalities, the involvement and empowerment of communities and individuals and how we improve the quality of care and outcomes for individuals.

Dr John Linnane

Director of Public Health (Warwickshire)

John has been a member of the CCG’s governing body since April 2013 and brings to group the Public Health perspective representing Public Health Warwickshire at Warwickshire County Council. John is also a member of the Warwickshire’s Health and Wellbeing Board, the principal adviser on health to members and officers across the councils – both County and District and Boroughs, and advises CCGs across Coventry and Warwickshire on health and wellbeing and health inequalities issues.

Andrea Green

Accountable Officer

Andrea is responsible for ensuring the CCG complies with its duties to secure continuous improvement in quality in a way that provides good value for money. She has 31 years’ experience in the NHS, in primary care, Strategic Health Authority and acute roles.

Clare Hollingworth

Chief Finance Officer

Clare has over 20 years experience within the NHS working in a range of roles across commissioning and provider organisations. Having previously worked for NHS Coventry, including fifteen months as interim Director of Finance, she has significant local insight and corporate memory.


Jenni Northcote

Chief Strategy and Primary Care Officer WNCCG & CRCCG

Jenni joined the CCG in February 2015 from Birmingham South Central CCG as Director for Partnerships and Engagement. Since then she has moved to become Chief Strategy and Primary Care Officer with overall responsibility for commissioning, primary care development communications and engagement.  She has held senior roles within the NHS, public sector and third sector and has extensive experience of leading strategic change programmes.  Jenni has a passion for engagement and partnership working and is committed to ensuring ‘lived experience’ shapes services which deliver improved outcomes for patients.


Glynis Washington

Interim Chief Nursing Officer

Glynis brings a wealth of knowledge to the CCG with over 30 years of experience within the NHS. As Chief Nursing Officer, key responsibilities include assuring the safeguarding and quality of commissioned services and working closely with partners across the local health and social care economy to drive improvements to patient care.
