Where you can get NHS information

All Primary Care Trusts were abolished on 31st March 2013. This has resulted in the Patient Advice and Liaison Services (PALS) run by NHS Coventry and NHS Warwickshire being closed.

Healthwatch Coventry

Healthwatch Coventry are the independent consumer champion promoting better outcomes for all in health and social care. Healthwatch Coventry has taken over from and will build on the legacy of Coventry LINk (Local Involvement Network). It will continue their work enabling local people and voluntary and community organisations to work together to make health and social care services better.

Local Healthwatch has an additional role of providing signposting and information with the aim of helping people to find their way around local NHS and social care services. The final shape of Local Healthwatch is still being determined; therefore Healthwatch Coventry will in the first instance be delivering a basic service handling some initial enquiries and signposting. This will assist in the development of the full signposting service which will be in place from October 2013.
