School nurses work across education and health, providing a link between school, home and the community.
Their aim is improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people. They work with families and young people from five to nineteen and are usually linked to aschool or group of schools.
In Coventry schools, the service is delivered by the South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust on behlf of NHS Coventry and Rugby CCG.

Compass provides the Warwickshire (including Rugby) School Health & Wellbeing Service (formerly known as the ‘School Nursing Service’). This confidential service is freely available to all school-aged children and young people from 5-19 years old (up to 25 years old for people with special educational needs).
