NHS Coventry and Rugby Clinical Commissioning Group works closely with voluntary, community and third sector organisations in the area and has been able to establish strong links through its local infrastructure organisations:
- Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action (WCAVA) in Rugby
- Voluntary Action Coventry (VAC) in Coventry
Both WCAVA & VAC organise regular events, attended by a variety of voluntary and community groups. CRCCG's senior management, clinical leads and other representatives regularly attend to give updates and to gain third sector input on local service development. Partnership Forums
CRCCG runs two partnership group meetings - one in Rugby and one in Coventry. WCAVA and Warwickshire Healthwatch are members of the Rugby group; VAC and Coventry Healthwatch are members of the Coventry group. Other members include representatives from the local authorities and GP clinical leads (specialists for particular health conditions).
These forums offer an additional opportunity for our voluntary sector partners to hear first-hand about the CCG's plans and priorities, and to explore potential partnerships for the delivery of health and social care to local people.
