We know that the best way to meet the health needs of our population is to design services in partnership with local communities.
This is why we undertake regular engagement about potential service developments in the Coventry and Rugby area. We use a number of techniques including social media, our website, surveys, events, focus group discussions and one to one interviews. We also work in partnership with community organisations to better engage more vulnerable groups.
If there is a recognised need for a significant change to the way a health service is delivered, a formal consultation may be necessary. In these cases, engagement will be undertaken prior to the consultation itself to gain input from local people and partners on what the change should look like and what options could be put forward as part of a formal consultation. This is known as pre-consultation engagement. We will publish details of formal consultations about local health services on this page.
There are currently no live formal consultations underway.
